5th-6th: 4 points 7th-8th: 3 points

The total event score for each team is the qualifying points plus elimination points for all eight drivers.
The FDRL only deviates from official NHRA scoring by:
The FDRL doesn't subtract points for oildowns or crossing the centerline.
The FDRL doesn't count the top three bonus points for each qualifying session.
The FDRL will award a pre-qualifying 50 point bonus to all Team Owners who submit their team selections before the qualifying deadline.
The FDRL will award a 100 point triple winner bonus to all Team Owners that select three winners of the race from the classes of: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle or Pro Modified at each individual race.

In the event of a tie:
Individual Races:
The qualifying points earned by each of your 8 drivers will be totaled and any driver that made a successful qualifying attempt but failed to qualify will be given a score of (10 ten points.
The team owner with the highest qualifying total will be declared the race winner.
If a tie still exists, the team owner who submits their team 1st wins the tie breaker.

Championship Series:
If teams are tied after the twenty-second race, the team with the highest score during the World Finals will win the tie breaker.
This method will be continued by reviewing additional previous races until the tie is broken.
